Rooster von Ramstedt is a striking looking 2–3 year old German Shepherd mixed with possibly Australian Shepherd which is where he got his beautiful blue eye. He is an all-around, good-natured guy with the unique looks who knows his basic commands and revels in playing with his ball and toys.  When the LAPD came to meet some Westside dogs for possible search and rescue, the dog they were most impressed with was Rooster! He had the focus they look for and was very responsive to commands and so engaging. Sadly, we never heard back, but our Rooster made us proud! He has a sweet demeanor with people and takes treats gently while hanging out by your side and hoping for some butt rubs.  Mindful of his leash manners, you will be proud to take him on walks.  He’s been working on his playgroup manners and now can meet both female and male dogs with no problem. He’s a no for small dogs or cats though. If you’re looking for a hunky, well-mannered guy, you’ll love Rooster.
